Sydney is the host in 2007 for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. This makeshift sign flashes at motorists approaching Macquarie St where concrete barriers will be erected to keep the protesters back from the national leaders’ motorcade. Sydney goes into lockdown again. Last time it was for Dick Cheney’s visit earlier this year. George Bush arrives on Tuesday 4th September.
